Lancaster County Animal Shelter: Lancaster, SC

11,500 SF: New Construction: Completion 2020

This project included clearing and developing 3.6 acres with fenced play areas for dogs, parking lots for public and staff, and new shelter building which consisted of load bearing masonry walls and PEMB structure. The facility is 11,500 sf in footprint and includes cat and dog adoption space, kennel space, surgery area, administrative space, and public visitor space and restrooms.

Southern Builders worked with Lancaster County and McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture to value the project down to budget. The final product is a facility that the owner and all involved are very proud to have accomplished.
